Voices in the Sea
splashing in the azure.
Pictured landscape so fresh
that visits my chambers.
Silence of the Sea
engulfing blameless lungs.
Beastly hunger-rough
tormenting flavours mine.
Oh brother,
your saltiness cannot be ignored.
Within veins and upon lips
a memento of forsaken migrant.
We know your essence
that beats and bites.
Reflecting sights
of darkened enigmas.
I won’t approach you
hoarder of treasures!
Can anyone enjoy your touches
easily turned into greedy abductions?
Today,
your beds are devouring graves;
your flows fearful vaults;
your royal indigos agitated roses.
Answer,
what is needed to compose you,
or plot to befriend you?
What price to unite men?
Listen,
may you soften up with a petition
and preserve their memories,
but let your roars chew our stagnation!
